“Italy coach Marcello Lippi has been linked with a move to UAE side Al-Ahli after the World Cup.
Corriere Dello Sport claims that the former Juventus andInter boss could join Azzurri captain Fabio Cannavaro, who signed a two-year deal approximately 10 days ago.
Lippi has reportedly given the green light for possible negotiations to go ahead once the tournament in South Africa is over.” GOAL

Beckham Suffers Potentially Serious Injury

AC Milan and England midfielder David Beckham went off with a serious-looking ankle or foot injury late in Sunday’s 1-0 Serie A win over Chievo.
Beckham was getting ready to kick a ball unchallenged when he suddenly pulled up and signalled to the bench despite second-placed Milan having used all their substitutes.
A Sky television reporter on the San Siro touchline said Beckham had told the bench “It’s broken, it’s broken” as he came off.
There was no further news on the extent of the injury for the 34-year-old, who was hoping to be part of England’s World Cup squad in June.
