The deal is that MOC (Ministry of communications) have signed a contract with SA Mobily operator (Subsidiary of the UAE Etisalat) and to be linked via “cable”… providing a closer, and more reliable international services carrier other than those in Dubai carrying Kuwait’s international communications.
I’m sorry folks, so the answer to the post title is NO

The little brave boy you have already read about.. bloggers, including me, were so busy looking for a sponsorship for the little man’s surgery.. I loved how energized and organized we were, and thanks to Allah, he was sponsored anonymously. I’d give the greatest gratitude to my sisters: Q8Rain & Iyaa (for being proactive to organize the giving initiative), Dudette from 7ajidude (For posting about Abdulkareem and the kids at NBK hospital), and Danderma (for taking the action to alert almost all bloggers about Abdulkareem’s story). BlackBerry outage…
As some of you may know, I work in a telecom company, and being part of a team that confronts complaints and works them out as well as measuring social trends and alerting concerned departments & divisions. I won’t be giving details about the nature of my work, but you can never imagine how an outage of simple service like BlackBerry messaging could generate such rage!
My Project…
Something big is in the making.. been working on this project since before Ramadan. This project, will be my one and only masterpiece, and let’s hope that it works as planned.. wish me luck!

It’s been like hell in the past few months, traffic jams have never been as bad as they are now. Day by day, it grows worse and in everywhere with no exception! I had the idea of a new concept car that fits traffic jams in Kuwait… imagine a car with only brakes! because.. in any way.. you’ll always be stuck in traffic and won’t even have a chance to go beyond 10 km/h

A week a go I received a kind invitation from my dear friend Mic Embalta3 to Al.Gayla’s press conference in Lenotre. As always.. I got there late, and I was really surprised seeing my Camera turned on; no battery 
Anyway, Al.Gayla is the first radio show to be run and organized by a private firm (Senyar MB) as Mr. Khalid Al.Roudan announced during the conference, and is to be presented by Talal Al.Yagout and Mic Embalta3 on Kuwait radio station. They’ve talked about the diversity of topics they will cover during the show, and I was really happy knowing that they welcome bloggers input into the show! WOW! This is new, and very creative

It’s been almost 11 months since their announcement about stopping the blog. SOMEcontrast, was, and will always be, one of the best blogs I enjoy reading. every now and then I visit SC to go through their reviews, topics, visits.. even the rant posts! Here’s a fact… our dear Ministry of Interior still lives in the age of Windows 95, or maybe Windows 98 if I want to be fair! The website payment services have not been updated since 2006! and most probably still using windows servers, which are known for their instability and unlimited number of bugs! here’s my story..
All I wanted is to renew my car’s certificate, so I renewed my car’s insurance and asked the insurance company employee if I had any “violations”.. and guess what! I had one with 15 KD!! I kept thinking all the way back home about what this violation could be.. “or you know what? I’ll pay it online directly just to get things quickly done”.
I’m back home and got online to the Ministry of Interior website, I went to the payments page.. a browser alert pops up telling me that I should use “Microsoft Internet Explorer” !!! But since I’m a web developer I viewed the source code of this page and guess what I have found.. the code was written back in 2006 and never updated since then! how smart!! MOI’s website DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO PAY UNLESS YOU ARE USING A WINDOWS PC AND IE BROWSER IN SPECIFIC! screen shots below:
